Ramsond Elite 6500 uses a true 186FA (E), 11 HP, 418 cc engine. Many suppliers supply similar appearance generators (with misrepresented claims of output). However, a detailed inquiry quickly reveals that these other generators are equipped with a substandard and primitive 408cc (186F) engine, which produce only 9 HP. Therefore, the rated power for those generators can typically reach a maximum of 4.7-4.9 kW. However, Ramsond Elite series provides a true 6500 W maximum power engine (actually tested at 6.9 kw max surge output).

Electrical Starter with Wireless Remote Control

All Ramsond Elite series generators come equipped with Electrical Start (key operated), as well as installed with wireless remote controlled starter. The wireless remote starter allows the operator to turn the Elite generator on and off from distances of up to 150 feet.

ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch)
Optional

All Ramsond Elite series are ATS READY and equipped with a 5 prong quick-connect ATS receptacle. When connected to the Elite generator, the ATS can continuously monitor the municipal electrical current. At the instance of loss of power, the microprocessor controlled ATS system sends a command to the generator's ignition system to start. The ATS will keep the generator running until such time that the municipal power is resumed, at which time it will send a command to the generator to shut off. The optional ATS is easy to connect and affordable. ATS is a highly recommended option, specially when your Elite series is intended for use as a back-up generator. The ATS microprocessor unit itself is not included with the generator set.

We ship the item from one of our distribution facilities throughout US within 1-2 business days from payment. The transit time, depends on the carrier. However, the item usually arrives within 3-5 business days from the date of shipping.

The default shipping option is for Terminal Shipping. Under this option, we will ship the generator to the terminal nearest to your location. Upon arrival at the location, you will receive a call from the local terminal to arrange for pick up.

Optional Shipping Insurance

In the event of loss or damage, the freight carrier's liability is limited to $0.50 per pound (about $172.00). If you need full insurance coverage, optional shipping insurance is highly recommended at $19.99.

Lift Gate Service

Please note that the gross weight of this product is approximately 380 lbs. We recommend the purchase of lift gate service, otherwise, you will require at least 3 people to offload this product from the truck.

Remote Rural Areas

Freight companies charge a special delivery rate to certain rural and remote areas. They refer to this extra charge as "beyond charges."
